Cooking Matters for Child Care Professionals

RCN is partnering with Foodlink and Share Our Strength’s Cooking Matters, a national program that works to make sure all kids have the healthy food they need every day.

Cooking Matters empowers families at risk of hunger with the skills, knowledge and confidence to make healthy and affordable meals. Alongside volunteer culinary and nutrition experts, course participants learn to select nutritious and low-cost ingredients, and prepare them in ways that provide the best nourishment possible to their families.

This 8 hour course is offered to providers and parents at RCN on the following dates.  Please contact Sarah Thomas at (585) 317-6989 or sthomas@rcn4kids.org to register.
