Lynn Lubecki, Executive Director/CEO
Lynn M. Lubecki, MS Ed. brings more than 20 years of early childhood education expertise along with her passion to continue the RCN tradition of providing quality services to young children and their families Ms. Lubecki holds knowledge in multiple aspects of the early childhood field, including in-home child care, general, and special education. She has worked in a variety of early childhood programs and positions, including a position in Leeds, England, uniquely equipping her to administer RCN’s multiple programs through a multi-cultural lens.
Ms. Lubecki was RCN’s Director of Children’s Programs for the last four years. She has provided program and practice leadership to this large section of RCN operations. Throughout her tenure, she has actively participated in an array of early childhood educators, parents, community leaders, and organizations dedicated to improving the quality and accessibility of early childhood education.
Ms. Lubecki holds a BA in Early Childhood Education, an MS in Inclusive Early Childhood Education and is finishing her education doctorate in Executive Leadership. Ms. Lubecki resides in the City of Roch ester and has two children, John and Angela. She credits her success to a loving family who understands the power of investing in the ir children.
Dan Murty, Director of Children's Programs
Dan Murty has been with RCN as a Special Education teacher for the past nine years. He is dedicated and has the skills and knowledge base that allows him to keep Children’s Programs aligned with RCN’s mission and vision, while providing guidance and support to all teaching teams. Mr. Murty received his Masters in Early Childhood Education. He is a trusted and respected member of the RCN family and holds himself to high standards. Mr. Murty is married and has three beautiful daughters, Molly, Kate and Lauren. He lives in Rochester.
Nancy Consol, Director of Special Education (the SMILE Program)
Nancy Consol is the Director of Special Education at RCN. She has been active in the Rochester area as an Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education Teacher and Evaluator for two decades. Nancy has a Bachelor's degree in Special Education from Syracuse University and a Master's degree from University of Connecticut in Special Education and C.A.S. in Educational Administration from SUNY Brockport. Growing up with an older sister who had developmental disabilities, Nancy knows the value of inclusive communities. She feels right at home as a member of the broad, inclusive family at RCN. Nancy serves on the Board of the Flower City Down Syndrome Network and is a Team Coordinator of RochesterCares volunteer organization. She is married and has 3 wonderful adult children.
Amy McBride, Director of RCN Family Child Care
Amy McBride joined Rochester Childfirst Network (RCN) in August as a Professional Development Specialist in the Family Child Care department. In October, Ms. McBride was promoted to the role as Director of Family Child Care. She comes to RCN with 10 years in the early childhood field. She holds a Master’s Degree from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY in Literacy Education as well a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Her expertise in coaching and training make her an asset to both Family Child Care and RCN as a whole. She is the mother of two children, ages 5&7 and enjoys spending her free time baking and in the great outdoors.
Diana Webb, Coordinator for Family Child Care Satellites of Greater Rochester & Family Child Care
Diana Webb, has been in the field of Early Care and Education for over 30 years, she represents RCN on inter-agency projects whose goals are to increase the quality of care offered in nearly 900 licensed and registered family child care homes. Diana offers one-on-one in-home training and presents a series of workshops towards accreditation through the National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCCand the Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) .
Diana and Bill, her husband, of 41 years have two adult children and 2 grandchildren. Diana is a current lecturer and workshop presenter at local, state and national conferences.
Christina Pearson, Site Director, RCN Center City
Christina Pearson, B.S., our RCN Center City Site Director, earned a Bachelors degree in Community and Human Services with a concentration in Children's Program Administration from SUNY Empire State College and a New York State Children's Program Administrator Credential from New York State Association for the Education of Young Children (NYSAEYC). She brings over 11 years of experience in early care and education administration to the Site Director position. She believes that building strong, positive relationships with children and families is the key to success.
Nancy Muir-Gaire, Director of Operations
Nancy Muir-Gaire comes to Rochester Childfirst Network with a long career in facility project management, with depth and breadth of operational knowledge, and with decades of working with regulatory authorities. Much of her experience is based in not-for-profit organizations, and she has supported many children’s programs through her work with foster care and adoption. Her education at State University of New York at Brockport in Interdisciplinary Arts for Children has further enhanced her basis of knowledge for her position as Director of Operations. She is most proud of her greatest work – her three grown children who continue to amaze her everyday - along with her stepchildren and beautiful grandchildren.
Susan Murphy, Grant Writer and Donor Relations Specialist
Susan Murphy, our new Grant and Donor Relations Specialist, is a recent graduate of SUNY Brockport’s Masters in Public Administration program. She brings with her over 30 years of experience as a pediatric Physical Therapist and manager. Sue has a passion for children’s programming for children of all abilities. She has lived in Rochester for 15 years. Sue and her husband, Tim, have three grown daughters and two delightful grandsons. Miles, now 7 years old, attended RCN in Miss Maria’s room as a toddler. Sue enjoys day trips, gardening, and yoga in her spare time.
Chrissy Andrews, Director of Development
Chrissy comes to RCN with many years of experience in marketing, fundraising, donor relations, public relations and will continue to grow with RCN to continue the vision that ALL children from ages 18 months to 12 years of age will grow up safe and strong able to achieve their fullest potential. Chrissy lives in Spencerport with her husband and three boys.
Stephanie Buchbinder, PR/Marketing and Special Events Specialist
Stephanie comes to us with 15+ years experience in public relations, development and marketing. She has a passion for non-profits, working with other agencies locally to assist with fundraising events, branding, and media relations. Stephanie lives in Webster with her husband and three children. Stephanie sits on the Board of Directors for AMA Rochester.
