Family Child Care (FCC)

The Family Child Care staff at RCN supports family, group and legally exempt in-home Child Care providers who serve children 6 weeks to 12 years of age. Licensed and registered homes affiliated with us are regulated by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS). RCN is a sponsor of CACFP and it is offered to all eligible in-home child care providers.
The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is a federal program that provides reimbursements for nutritious meals and snacks to eligible children and adults who are enrolled for care at participating child care centers, daycare homes, and adult daycare centers. CACFP contributes to the wellness, healthy growth, and development of young children and adults in the United States.
Family, group and legally exempt providers must sign an agreement with a sponsor to participate in CACFP. All-in home childcare must be licensed or approved to provide daycare.
